Once the Doctor left Amy and Rory to ponder over his cryptic, sexy pantomime with their daughter, he excitedly ran over to the TARDIS console and set the controls to take him to the Planet of the Hats.
The Doctor always felt a new surge of inspiration when he had a new thinking cap. But as he fiddled around with the controls, the TARDIS suddenly lurched forward, thrusting the Doctor against the control panel and knocking him unconscious.
When the Doctor finally came to, things seemed a bit…off. The TARDIS was still intact, but only half of it was there. Like the time vortex took a big bite out of it. On the other side was what appeared to be a large green screen.
